In the digital realm of social media with hundreds of different sites, platforms, feeds, blogs, content, digital socializations, and information to maintain it can seem daunting. Fortunately for us, there are some great monitoring tools to help wrangle that beast of data and monitoring. Everyday there seems to be more and more monitoring tools available to browse through. Below is one I would suggest.

Google : Google Alerts
Cost: Free

Google Alerts is a content monitoring service that can automatically notify user (user preference on frequency) via email or web feed. As of current, there are six types of alerts sent when new content matches the search terms. Six types are: News, Wed, Blogs, Video, groups, and All of the above. Google Alerts is still in beta testing and only uses their own search engine.
